Space BD and Inovor Technologies Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Explore Commercial Opportunities Between Japan and Australia

Tokyo, Japan -October 2025- Space BD Inc., a space business operator that provides various services including satellite launches and microgravity research on the ISS, is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Inovor Technologies Pty Ltd at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025 in Sydney, marking a new chapter of collaboration between the Japanese and Australian space industries.

 

The MOU outlines a shared commitment to explore commercial business opportunities for the prospective sale and supply of subsystems and units by Inovor Technologies to Space BD, and launch services supported by Space BD to Inovor Technologies.

 

Through this partnership, the two companies will cooperate in good faith to identify and develop mutually beneficial opportunities — including the exchange of technical and commercial information, joint discussions with key stakeholders, and exploration of future programs and contracts. The MOU serves as a foundation for deeper collaboration through future definitive agreements.

Representatives from the Australian Trade and Investment Commission witnessed this signing and welcomed the partnership.
